Male’, Maldives, 08 August 2024 – In celebration of World Wellness Weekend, Jumeirah Olhahali Island is hosting an exclusive wellness programme from September 20 to 22, 2024. The event aligns with the five pillars of wellness to support the United Nations’ goal of Good Health and Well-being for All, encompassing sleep and creativity, nutrition and immunity, movement and vitality, mindfulness and serenity, and purpose and solidarity.

This specially curated event offers guests one bespoke activity per day, each designed to nurture a specific aspect of well-being. Treatments such as the Sodashi Heart Chakra face and body alignment bring balance to the chakra system while restoring the skin’s complexion. Guests can partake in active pursuits throughout the resort, including dancing classes and mat Pilates. Mindfulness activities such as prana, trataka, and Tibetan singing bowl meditations are available, along with customized bath rituals in the privacy of contemporary villas. Enhancing sleep quality is a priority, with offerings like jet lag massages, shirodhara treatments, and a curated pillow menu featuring nine options, from cassia seed pillows to orthopedic pillows. The resort’s culinary outlets present healthier lifestyle choices with nutritious food stations and bespoke gastronomy, featuring fresh ingredients for fruit juices, wellness elixir shots, and Ayurveda-inspired drinks, alongside healthy entrees.

“We are excited to host World Wellness Weekend, providing our guests with a unique opportunity to rejuvenate and reconnect in the stunning surroundings of our Maldivian paradise,” said Mohamed Ashraf, General Manager of Jumeirah Olhahali Island. “Our wellness programme is meticulously crafted to both inspire and invigorate, harmonizing with the natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere of our island.
