As part of their commitment to preserving Earth and sustain the environment, Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives has launched its newly installed solar power system, which will collect clean, renewable energy for the resort.
The power system is equipped to produce an estimated 478,080 kwh of clean energy for the resort annually, and significantly reduce the island resort’s carbon emissions, saving up to 150,000 liters of diesel fuel annually. The announcement was made on the occasion of Earth Day (22 April 2021).

Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives has received its first Green Globe certification, in 2020, acknowledging its sustainable management and operations. A comprehensive Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) is in place at Grand Park Kodhipparu as it continually looks for ways to be more sustainable in their operations. The SMP is overseen by a dedicated Green Team comprised of senior management and staff members representing different departments.
