Male’, Maldives, 4th January 2024 – Stuart De San Nicolas has been appointed as the new Cluster General Manager overseeing Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, Avani+ Fares Resort, and NH Collection Maldives Havodda, effective from December 23rd, 2023. With over three decades of hands-on experience in the hospitality industry across diverse global locations spanning Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific, Stuart brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
Hailing from Spain, Stuart joins Minor Hotels from Conrad Bora Bora Nui, where he significantly enhanced the resort’s luxury offerings as the General Manager. His hospitality journey began in 1993 at the Hyatt Regency group in France, and since then, he has held various pivotal roles in front office and food and beverage departments worldwide, honing his hospitality skills.
For more than 20 years, Stuart has held esteemed General Manager positions in prestigious hotels such as Altapura in France, Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Hotel & Spa in Mauritius, Marriott Islamabad, Pik Palace and Park Chalet in Azerbaijan, Hotel Paracas in Peru, The St. Regis Mauritius, and Le Meridien Bora Bora.
Recognized for his seasoned leadership style, Stuart has excelled in motivating large teams while ensuring five-star guest experiences. He has a proven track record of surpassing guest expectations by maintaining operational excellence at the resorts under his purview.
