Male’, Maldives, 30th April 2024 – Barceló Whale Lagoon Maldives, in collaboration with the esteemed Maldives Housekeepers Association (MHA), proudly hosted a captivating Bed Decoration and Sand Art Competition on April 25th, 2024. This innovative event showcased the talents of individuals in the hospitality sector, emphasizing creativity, speed, balance, and uniqueness.
The competition featured distinguished judges including Abdulla Nazeem, Co-founder of the Maldives Housekeepers Association, Athif, renowned for decades of experience as a Housekeeping Executive in top resorts across the Maldives, and Usman Ibrahim, Director of Housekeeping at Barceló Whale Lagoon Maldives. Together, they witnessed a spectacular display of bed decorations and sand art creations.
Participants vied for significant cash prizes and the chance for all-expenses-paid training in the Basics of Housekeeping and Laundry, conducted by the prestigious Maldives Housekeepers Association in Mumbai. This training program aims to equip winners with essential skills and knowledge crucial for excelling in their profession.
