With over 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Shaheen’s journey from Billing Clerk at Rangali under Crown Company to his recent elevation exemplifies dedication, perseverance, and leadership.
Shaheen’s rise through the ranks underscores his unwavering commitment and passion for excellence. Starting from various roles at Veligandu to his pivotal position as Director of Sales & Marketing at Crown & Champa Resorts, Shaheen has consistently showcased his ability to navigate challenges and lead his teams to success.
Amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Shaheen’s leadership proved instrumental in steering his team through market fluctuations and uncertainties. His strategic vision and motivational leadership played a crucial role in maintaining occupancy and revenue levels despite adversities.
Shaheen’s educational background, including a Hotel Management degree from Maldives National University and Taylor’s University, Malaysia, along with participation in the General Managers’ Program at Cornell University, USA in 2024, reflects his commitment to continuous learning and growth.
In his new role, Shaheen will oversee the commercial operations of CCR, including revenue management, e-commerce, PR, marketing, communication, and sales departments.
