Male’, Maldives, 30 July 2024 – Nexia Maldives, in collaboration with Summer Island Maldives, celebrated Nexia Week with a one-day sustainability event, underscoring the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) themes. Nexia Week is an annual event organized by Nexia, a global network of independent accounting and consulting firms.

Nexia Maldives, established in 2007 and formerly known as FJS – Consulting, Tax, Assurance, is a leading consultancy firm in the Maldives. The firm offers a comprehensive range of services, including socio-economic research, policy consulting, development planning, management and financial consulting, and tax and assurance services.

This year’s Nexia Week focused on ESG themes, welcoming both local and international delegates to the event. Participants learned about Summer Island Maldives’ sustainability initiatives, including its reef regeneration efforts in the Blue Lagoon, an impressive coral nursery, and its Guinness World Record-holding 3-D printed reef. The event also featured a coral planting initiative.
