Male’, Maldives, 06 August 2024 – Royal Island Resort & Spa, part of the prestigious Villa Resorts, has announced the appointment of Nasrulla Ali as its new General Manager. With an impressive career spanning over 25 years in the luxury hospitality industry, Nasrulla brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new position.
A native of the Maldives, Nasrulla’s career began in 1994 as a receptionist and night auditor at Ihuru Tourist Resort, now known as Dhawa Ihuru Maldives. Since then, he has held senior management roles at some of the world’s most renowned luxury brands, including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, One&Only Resorts, Velaa Private Island, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Coco Collection, and Radisson Hotels. Most recently, he served as the Assistant General Manager at SAii Lagoon Maldives.
Nasrulla is celebrated for his dedication to quality and guest satisfaction, earning recognition as an exceptional trainer and manager. His international experience encompasses high-end properties across Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, the United States, and Malaysia, adding a global perspective to his leadership.
