Male’, Maldives, 13 August 2024 – Villa Resorts has announced the promotion of Jailam Wajeeh to the role of Sales Manager, a move that underscores the company’s commitment to leveraging internal talent for continued growth. In his new role, Jailam will spearhead sales initiatives for Villa Nautica, Villa Park, Royal Island, and the highly anticipated luxury flagship, Villa Haven, across select markets and regions.

Jailam’s journey at Villa Resorts has been marked by significant contributions, most notably as the Manager of PR & Marketing. He played a pivotal role in the rebranding of Villa Nautica and Villa Park, as well as the relaunch of Villa Resorts under the ambitious Project Blue Ocean vision. His deep familiarity with the company’s properties and his extensive industry experience are expected to enhance partnerships and expand the brand’s footprint in key markets.

Before taking on his new role, Jailam’s career at Villa Resorts included positions in Digital Marketing and Content Management, where he honed his expertise in driving brand visibility and engagement. His experience also spans roles as a Market Researcher at FITS Retail and in Sales and Marketing at the Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel. He began his career as a Reservation Executive at Diethelm Travel Group, laying the groundwork for his diverse skill set.

Jailam’s academic background is equally impressive, with an MBA from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Tourism Management from Taylor’s University and Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, both with First Class Honours.

With his new appointment, Villa Resorts is confident that Jailam Wajeeh will lead the sales teams to new heights, driving success for the brand’s portfolio and opening doors to fresh opportunities in the competitive hospitality landscape.
