Male’, Maldives, 30th June 2022 – The Maldives Immigration department has announced new updates for its IMUGA Traveler Declaration Form, the electronic embarkation/disembarkation form for all travelers.

The new enhancements to the declaration form makes it more convenient as travelers’ personal details will be filled automatically from the image of their passport data page. This auto-fillable feature saves time and reduces room for errors.
Travelers must check and verify their information before submission. They can check if their submission has been completed through the “Check My QR Code” button. The QR’s validity has also been extended to a total of 96 hours.
Maldives Immigration hopes to improve customer experience and provide a more convenient service through these updates.
