Health Protection Agency (HPA) has arranged PCR testing for tourists visiting the Maldives in 5 Hospitals.
HPA has revealed the hospitals with PCR testing facilities along with their prices. The contact details of focal points from those hospitals have also been publicized from the list which includes Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital, Addu Equatorial Hospital, and 3 hospitals from Greater Male’ Region.
HPA advises the tourists to send samples to the hospitals before 48 hours so that the tourists receive the COVID-19 test results on time for their departure. Travelers will also have to provide a copy of their travel and other required documents in order to carry out PCR testing.
- ADK Hospital: MVR 1,500
- IGMH: MVR 1,534
- Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital: MVR 1,534
- Addu Equatorial Hospital: MVR 1,534
- Tree Top Hospital: MVR 2,000
In addition to these hospitals, PCR testing services for tourists departing from liveaboards are also arranged by National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM) in Hulhumale’.
