A total of 525 arrivals were from the United Kingdom (UK), followed by 444 from the United Arab Emirates, and 443 from Germany. According to the Maldives Immigration, the Maldives had received 9538 tourist arrivals in September, since borders reopened. The steady surge in tourism comes from numerous contributions made from marketing campaigns launched by the tourism ministry and many other parties, including the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
