Kuramathi ensures to lead with eco-conscious actions by implementing initiatives such as marine protection  programs, plastic use reduction methods, proper waste management, optimising energy and water  use, local community collaboration, and conducting awareness programs to engage guests and  highlight these measures.  

According to the resort, the core of driving force of the cause is the resort’s Environmental Committee, which is spearheaded by the Director of  Operations, and co-anchored by the Executive Resident Manager together with Chief Engineer and  Resident Marine Biologist.  They all work alongside team members from all aspects of operations to further the resorts efforts in social accountability, economic welfare, and environment conservation; the three pillars of sustainable development and integrate them in all our operations.
