Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Angsana Ihuru has appointed Kanruethai Roongruang as its new General Manager, who will be responsible for carrying on the day-to-day operations of the resort without any hinges.

Kan brings over 20 years of experience to the resort, having started her journey with the Banyan Tree Group in 1997 where she started off in a managerial position at Canal Village, Laguna Phuket. Later in 2017, Kan set her sight on Hotel Management and worked as the Hotel Manager of 2 resorts; Angsana Villa Phuket Resort & Laguna Holiday Club Phuket Resort. Kan successful lead the team to its smooth operations.

The industry veteran is set to lead Banyan Tree’s Post-Covid plan – The wellbeing Drive for Banyan Vabbinfaru caters to the wellbeing curious. This new journey creates a space that designs and combines wellbeing elements with a leisure vacation. Through a carefully structures and straightforward use of 8 pillars, guests are able to design and personalize their stay whilst creating a personal practice to keep even after returning home.
