Earlier this year, Visit Maldives commenced a campaign with Tripadvisor, world’s largest travel platform under the concept “Escape to Maldives: Calm Awaits”. The campaign started in January and will run until September of this year. Targeting the US, Europe and APAC region, the campaign will connect Maldives with the largest travel community in the world. 

Under the campaign, Tripadvisor published a travel guide to 5-star resorts in Maldives. From breathtaking overwater villas to uniquely-Maldivian underwater rooms, the guide highlighted several of the most beautiful 5-star luxury resorts and hotels in Maldives. Users can “Save” the listings and start planning their serene getaway to Maldives. Travelers are also able to use the “Travel Safe” tool on the website to find, filter for and validate health and safety information.
