Visit Maldives has joined forces with Iberia Airlines – one of the leading Airlines in the Spanish Market. The joint venture will be showcased onboard, online and on social media with external actions during July and August 2021.

This campaign is being launched in hopes of strengthening destination presence across Europe and Latin America. First on the agenda is onboard actions, where Maldives will be featured in Iberian Airlines boarding passes, its website and newsletters.

In addition, Visit Maldives has an exciting auction planned for this campaign where an airplane ticket from Madrid to Male’ will be won by one lucky winner. With over 2 million followers on their platform – Iberia Airlines will feature Maldives on their Instagram page through posts and stories.

Maldives holds the position as Iberia’s first Indian Ocean destination and has big plans to increase arrivals from the Spanish and Southern Europe market with in the upcoming months. Other activities in order to promote Maldives as a top of the mind destination for Spanish travelers include media FAM trips.
