An adult only luxurious retreat which proudly highlights the local island traditions of the Maldives – Milaidhoo Island announces an exciting collaboration with the world renowned artist Alena Lavdovskaya.
Born into an artistic family, Alena has worked with legendary fashion houses and luxury brands such as Guerlain, Dior, Chanel, Lancôme, Tiffany’s and Montblanc. Alena is a master illustrator, taking inspiration from life and adding her special touches to it making unique and contemporary illustrations.
Milaidhoo Island Maldives and Aelna will come together to create contemporary, island inspired art pieces which will present the Maldivian Heritage to a broader audience. These artworks will be displayed and auctioned later in the year with the proceeds to be donated towards the marine conservation efforts in Maldives.
