Visit Maldives and Qatar Airways have launched a marketing campaign to promote the Maldives in Europe, The Middle East and the United States. This campaign will run from July 2021 till June 2022 and will consist of both digital and offline activities.

Qatar Airways will promote Maldives through channels such as tactical campaigns, newsletters and trade workshops. Maldives and its breathtaking landscape will be featured in Qatar Airways homepage as well. Familiarization trips will be a part of this exciting campaign with Qatar Airways.

This campaign with Qatar Airways will market Maldives through an endless thread and variety of events. Starting from the geographically scattered islands of the Maldives, the one-island-one-resort concept, and the safety stringent measures will all be greatly highlighted – ensuring that Maldives remains one of the safest destinations in the world.

Visit Maldives is conducting not worthy global campaigns with SkyScanner, TripAdvisor and Expedia – all targeting travelers all around the globe to position Maldives as the top of the mind destination to visit.

When Maldives officially opened its borders to all tourists on 15th July 2020, Qatar Airways was the first airline to land – since then the airline has increased its frequency of flights, ensuring Qatar Airways confidence in the Maldives as a leading tourist destination.
