Sri Lankan Airlines has resumed the direct flights between Colombo to Gan starting from 4th December, 2021.
Sri Lankan Airlines had previously operated scheduled flights between Gan and Colombo, allowing residents of Addu to travel abroad without traveling to Male’. However, the flights were suspended following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The flights are scheduled to fly between Colombo and Gan on Saturdays every week. The ticket fare for Maldivians starts at USD 271 and the rate for tourists is USD 23.
Sri Lankan Airlines announced on Twitter last November that the flights will also be commencing in partnership with Maldivian Aero.
