Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences is offering guests the once in a lifetime opportunity to volley with not one but two tennis pros this March.

France’s Daryl Monfils, who made his ATP main draw debut partnering with his brother Gael Monfils in 2012, and Russian tennis pro, Natalia Vikhlyantseva, who had a career-high singles ranking of number 54, will be on hand to share their expertise at complimentary guest tennis clinics.

Daryl and Natalia will host the daily tennis clinics between March 10th and 15th. They will give guests a chance to brush up on their skills with professional guidance on serving, volleying and more.

There will also be an Exhibition Match at Amilla Maldives on World Tennis Day (March 7th).

Amilla’sLUX Tennis resident pro, Ryan Brough, and previous LUX Tennis resident player, Arthur Libaud, will face off in what promises to be a thrilling match. Ryan was previously ranked top 10 in Great Britain. Arthur is now the resort’s Activities Manager, and he ranked 5th in the under 18s in his home country of France as well as in the Top 30 in the USA during his time there.

Amilla is renowned for its array of activities and events for guests and they are thrilled to have Daryl and Natalia join them. Arthur Libaud comments “I am proud to be a part of Amilla Maldives and welcome tennis stars to the island. It is great to see our guests laughing and playing with them during the tennis clinics.”

This year’s tennis lineup follows the hugely successful tennis clinics led by Philipp Daveydenko and Viktor Troicki in 2021 at Amilla. To find out more email [email protected].
