Male’, Maldives, 16th August 2022 – SriLankan Airlines is reportedly said to increase its frequency of flights to Gan in Addu City starting from October this year.

According to the airline’s local sales agent, Ace Aviation Services Maldives, the airline has been operating two weekly flights to Gan since it resumed operations to the Maldives post-pandemic, which are on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This will increase to three weekly flights, with the third day being Thursdays.

The third weekly flight will be introduced in the coming months. This decision has been made to accommodate demand for flights. It will also facilitate travel for people looking to travel to Addu City and Huvadhu Atoll. Manta Air currently connects these SriLankan airlines flights to Huvadhu.
