Male’, Maldives, 23rd February 2023 – Conrad Maldives Rangali Island announces Dwayne Krisko as its Culinary Director at the iconic twin-island resort, which is home to the world’s first undersea restaurant, Ithaa. The property is part of Conrad Hotels & Resorts one of Hilton’s global luxury hotel brands.
Culinary Director and Chef, Dwayne will be responsible for overseeing both the culinary, and food and beverage operations of the resort including the guest’ culinary journey, special events and sustainability practices, instilling his expertise and vision across the menu offering and operations across the resort’s bespoke award winning 12 restaurants and bars.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Dwayne brings over 20 years of culinary experience working in luxury hotels and resorts. His career includes leadership positions at One and Only and the St. Regis hotels. Dwayne first started his career in Florida, but it has taken him all over the world to countries including Thailand, Qatar, Jordan, Dubai, Lebanon, and the UK, honing his skills in all aspects of F&B and culinary operations.
Dwayne is coming to Conrad Maldives Rangali Island from VinGroup in Hanoi Vietnam as Executive Culinary Director where he launched multiple new concepts including a wellness menu and managed on-island rejuvenation and eco projects. Prior to this, Dwayne held the title of Culinary Director at One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives.

Renowned for delivering authentic barefoot luxury, the twin-island property boasts the world’s first underwater bedroom set within the two-level residence The MURAKA, and the first twin island resort experience in the Maldives alongside the first underwater restaurant.
