Male’, Maldives, 21st January 2024 – Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is all set to host an exclusive Lunar New Year celebration in collaboration with Chef de Cuisine Zhao Bo, recognized as the Chef de Cuisine of the Year at the Middle East Chef Excellence Awards. Hailing from Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort, Dubai, Chef Zhao Bo’s expertise in Chinese delicacies will enhance the resort’s Asian flavors during the festive week from February 9 to 15, 2024, alongside Executive Chef Riccardo Pinna.

To mark the Chinese New Year, the resort will be transformed into a vibrant haven adorned with captivating Chinese decorations, including colorful lanterns and beautifully decorated pathways. This festive ambiance, embodying the spirit of the Year of The Wood Dragon, will be complemented by a special beachfront Prosperity Buffet Dinner at Anchorage Beach on February 9, 2024, skillfully crafted by Chef Zhao Bo.

Throughout the week, guests can enjoy an exclusive set menu curated by Chef Zhao Bo at ChopstiX, the resort’s Asian culinary haven. With six specialty restaurants offering Seafood Italian, Caribbean, Indian, or Thai cuisine, guests will have a variety of options to satisfy their palate. Traditional festivities, including the Dragon Dance, Karaoke Night, and the Festival of Red at Kakuni Beach, will ensure a lively and culturally rich experience for all guests.

Live screen telecasts will keep guests connected with celebrations in their home countries, providing a sense of home away from home.
