Branded as the ‘Real Maldives,’ the 5-star resort’s latest addition, perched above the serene waters of Haa Alifu Atoll, enhances its extensive Dine and Imbibe offerings.
Following the resort’s recent accolade as the Best Maldives Culinary Resort in the TTM awards, Veli Bar aligns with the property’s renewed emphasis on from-scratch creations. The meticulously crafted cocktail menu reflects the resort’s commitment to sustainability, utilizing garden-fresh produce and innovative approaches to achieve zero food waste. Notable offerings include Tepache, a fermented beverage crafted from waste pineapple skins.
Veli Bar is also home to the resort’s Wellness Lab, where the skilled bar team has developed an array of tinctures to create specialized bitters for individual cocktails. Employing traditional methods with Cinchona bark, they produce chemical-free natural tonic water, offering a sugar-free alternative.
