During the three-day event, MMPRC aims to shine a spotlight on the rich culture and heritage of the Maldives. The Maldives pavilion will feature cultural elements, including captivating displays of authentic Maldivian craftsmanship. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Maldivian culture, with presentations highlighting the history, customs, and traditions of the destination. Notably, the cultural presentation will be complemented by an exciting holiday giveaway sponsored by Adaaran Club Rannalhi and Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi.

Throughout the fair, MMPRC will provide attendees with the latest information about the Maldives, including updates on new products, segments, and promotional offers. This event also serves as a platform for industry partners to showcase their unique offerings and forge new partnerships. By participating in MATTA 2024, MMPRC aims to connect with industry professionals, gain valuable insights into the evolving travel landscape, and solidify the Maldives’ position as a leading travel destination in the region.

The Malaysian market holds immense potential for the Maldives tourism industry. In the previous year, Malaysia ranked 26th as a source market, with 13,551 arrivals. As of March 2024, the Maldives has welcomed 3,063 tourists from Southeast Asia. To further capitalize on this potential, MMPRC has planned a series of marketing activities in the region, including digital and social media campaigns, participation in major fairs, roadshows, and exhibitions, as well as training programs and outdoor campaigns throughout 2024. These efforts aim to increase arrivals and maintain the destination’s momentum in the Malaysian and Southeast Asian markets.

MMPRC’s participation in MATTA 2024 underscores its commitment to showcasing the Maldives’ unparalleled beauty, culture, and hospitality to the world, inviting travelers to experience the essence of paradise firsthand.
