Male’, Maldives, 1st April 2024 – Maldivian, the national carrier of the Maldives, is set to broaden its network by introducing direct flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka, commencing on April 25th, 2024. This new route aims to provide travelers with a convenient way to explore the cultural richness and historical heritage of Sri Lanka beyond the pristine beaches of the Maldives.

The flights will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays, offering flexibility for travelers to plan their journeys. The flight schedule is as follows:

– Thursday/Saturday

  – MLE-CMB: Flight No. Q2-940, Departure Time 19:35, Arrival Time 21:35, Fleet 320

  – CMB-MLE: Flight No. Q2-941, Departure Time 22:35, Arrival Time 23:25, Fleet 320

Introductory fares are available with terms and conditions applied. Additionally, all flights include a generous 30kg baggage allowance and a complimentary meal for passengers’ convenience and comfort.
