The Radisson Blu Resort Maldives has completed the first batch of vaccination program to give the first dose of vaccine for their team members.
“The health and safety of all our guests, team members and visitors remain one of our top priorities and, as a company, we are committed to taking the necessary actions to continue to act responsibly.” read a statement by the company.
A nationwide Covid-19 vaccination programme was initiated in the Maldives at the beginning of February, Ministry of Tourism of and Health Protection Agency. Efforts are now underway to have employees working in the tourism sector immunised against the virus as their vaccination is crucial for the survival of the tourism sector. According to the statistics by tourism ministry, a of March 25, 2021, 14898 workers in tourism sector has been vaccinated in The Maldives. Furthermore Maldives is also working towards becoming the first country to initiate vaccine tourism , in which tourist visiting the country will receive two doses of vaccine against the coronavirus during their stay in the Maldives.

The design has natural tones and mixed seating around a central show kitchen, where chefs entertain guests with open-air cooking over flames. The pristine islet of Huruelhi Island lies 105 kilometers from the main Male’s Velana International Airport.
