On June 4, 2021, The Ministry of Tourism along with MMPRC and industry stakeholders have come together to form the official Tourism Golden Jubilee Steering Committee. Commencing the planning and well execution of the golden year celebrations for next year, the team is gearing up for a splendid year ahead.
Most of the work discussed within the committee will be lead by the Ministry of Tourism. A carefully selected task force have also been formed for the golden year celebrations.
The first meeting held by the committee touched upon the activity calendar for the celebrations. Opinions were shared on the budgeting and facilitation of the celebrations as well.
