Soneva Jani – nestled in Noonu Atoll, Maldives, it encompasses a new benchmark for over-water luxury and innovative dining concepts. This time around, the spectacular resort has introduced a new seasonal menu at Overseas by Chef Mathias Dahlgren.  

Owner of two acclaimed restaurants in Stockholm, an author of numerous best-selling cook books, and the only Swedish Chef to have won the prestigious Bocuse d’Or – Mr. Mathias Dahlgren is a force to be reckoned with in the culinary world.

“I’m really inspired for a new season of cooking at Soneva Jani here in the beautiful Maldives,” says Mathias Dahlgren. “Our concept of local greens and regional seafood remains the same, but this year we have incorporated more à la carte dishes and more flexibility into the menu for diners.”

The overseas menu highlights and celebrates the best of local ingredients – organic vegetables and daily fresh catches from the sea. Chef Mathias is most known for his pescatarian, vegetarian and plant based dishes mostly served in single plates and sharing platters.
