Maldives has been removed from Abu Dhabi’s ‘Green List’ including five other countries. This means holiday makers arriving in the U.A.E from Maldives are subject to quarantine.
With this change, any traveller entering Abu Dhabi from Maldives will be required to complete a mandatory quarantine period of seven days though the traveller may have been fully vaccinated. Also unvaccinated travelers will be required to complete ten days of quarantine.
Moreover, travellers from 28 countries in Abu Dhabi’s ‘Green List’ can enter UAE without Quarantine by presenting a negative PCR test, valid for a maximum 72 Hours before departure.
This change will be effective from today, 18th August 2021 after 2pm onwards.
