Male’, Maldives, 28th June 2022 – With the upcoming Football World Cup 2022 right around the corner, Lily Beach Resort & Spa prepares to set the mood for this lively football event. It will be hosting a football camp with multiple Guinness World Record holder for football freestyle, Marcel Guk in the spirit of celebrating the World Cup in the Maldives from 22nd to 31st October.
The German football freestyle star will be leading the workshops at the resort for one week, presenting guests with the exciting opportunity to learn some football freestyle tricks from the best. The camp is taking place in tandem with the World Cup and will certainly be a highlight for guests of all ages. With it being the school holiday period in Europe, the resort looks forward to welcoming many new faces. It is also a chance for repeater guests who had joined the camp previously to show Marcel their improvements and learn new tricks.
During Marcel’s stay at the leading all-inclusive resort in the Maldives, he will be offering guests lessons and workshops, and sharing some of his professional tips and tricks. Guests will be able to enjoy his complimentary 5-day football freestyle clinic as well as opt for private lessons on request for a fee. He also will have a 2-day Football Training class specially curated from his many similar camps that he conducts all around the world. Additionally, he will also be putting on two football freestyle shows for the guests, showing off the best Guinness World Records-worthy tricks. There will be some fun football matches together with him and other football fans on the island to have not only some learning of tricks but also getting active and burning some calories after eating all that tasty food at the resort.

The resort has much in store to celebrate the World Cup. For instance, it will be offering some specialty drinks and food of the major teams competing in the World Cup for a limited time. Guests joining the football camp will receive goodie packages with t-shirts. water bottles and other awards up for grabs during special gamers held every day after the trainings. Face painting will also be available during this time, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the lively spirit and showcase their support for their favourite team. The resort encourages all guests visiting them during this period to join the fun by wearing jerseys of their teams and also donning on a fun costume for the annual Halloween Parade on 31st October. Marcel will be also joining in with the Halloween festivities by bringing his own unique costume this year as well.
