Male’, Maldives, 14th January 2024 – In preparation for a dynamic year of global engagement in 2024, the Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) is set to participate in a range of international fairs and events. The corporation is gearing up to highlight the distinctive beauty and attractions of the Maldives in various parts of the world.

The year commences with the prestigious FITUR event in Madrid, Spain, from January 24th to 28th, followed closely by the EMITT fair in Istanbul, Turkiye, from February 6th to 9th. February sees the MMPRC’s presence at OTM in Mumbai, India, and SATTE in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, India. March promises an exciting highlight with the Maldivian Evening coinciding with the renowned ITB Berlin at the Berlin ExpoCenter City exhibition grounds.

As spring unfolds, the MMPRC maintains its global presence, participating in the MATTA Fair in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from March 22nd to 24th. April sees the corporation’s involvement in the ADEX Ocean Festival in Singapore and the WTM Africa in Cape Town, South Africa. May features participation in the WTM Latin America in São Paulo, Brazil, and the KITF in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The quarter concludes with a spotlight on the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, UAE.

The summer months bring the MMPRC to the forefront with appearances at the Riyad Travel Fair (RTF) in Saudi Arabia, the ITB China in Shanghai, and the International Maldives Travel Mart (IMTM) back home in the Maldives. August starts with participation in NATAS Holidays, with the location yet to be confirmed. The quarter concludes with the eagerly anticipated TTM Maldives event in August.

In the final quarter, the MMPRC sustains its global engagements with appearances at IFTM Top Resa in Paris, Tourism Expo Japan (JATA) in Tokyo, and TTG Travel Experience in Rimini, Italy. October features the ITB Asia in Singapore and the much-anticipated ADEX India in Bangalore. The MMPRC wraps up the year with participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) London in November, followed by the China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM) in Beijing. The year concludes with the illustrious ILTM Cannes in France and the DRT Show Hong Kong in December.

Tourism enthusiasts and industry stakeholders alike eagerly await the MMPRC’s global showcase, anticipating a year filled with excitement, cultural exchange, and the celebration of the Maldives’ unique charm on the international stage.
