Male’, Maldives, 17th April 2024 – Nathaniel Alapide, a renowned sand artist based in Dubai and holder of the Guinness World Record for the largest sand image, amazed guests with his latest creation at the exquisite Sun Siyam Iru Fushi resort. Known for his intricate and captivating sand art, Alapide chose the pristine shores of Sun Siyam Iru Fushi as his canvas for a special collaboration on April 12th, celebrating Eid Al Fitr.

Prior to his arrival at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Alapide displayed his remarkable talent by creating stunning artworks at various Sun Siyam Resorts to mark the Easter celebrations, using the expansive beaches as his canvas. Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the surroundings, Alapide sought to encapsulate the essence of the Maldives in his artwork.

Against the backdrop of turquoise waters and under the radiant Maldivian sun, Alapide meticulously crafted his sand art, infusing elements of local culture, marine life, and the tranquil ambiance of the island. With just his hands and basic tools, Alapide transformed grains of sand into a breathtaking visual spectacle.
