Recent accolades from the World Travel Awards, including recognition as the Indian Ocean’s Leading Destination, Leading Honeymoon Destination, Leading Green Destination, and Leading Dive Destination, further solidified the Maldives’ status as a premier travel hub.

Continuing the momentum from previous years, Visit Maldives maintained a robust presence at ATM. CEO & MD Fathmath Thaufeeq expressed delight in welcoming attendees and fostering global industry connections.

A key focus highlighted by CEO & MD Fathmath Thaufeeq was the ambition to surpass expectations, aiming for 2 million tourist arrivals in 2024 while extending visitor nights and upholding the Maldives’ status as the World’s Leading Destination.
