Male’, Maldives, 11th June 2024 – Sun Siyam Iru Veli proudly announces the launch of its new community outreach program, the IMPACT INITIATIVE – Care for Community. This program is designed to elevate the resort’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts and strengthen ties with the local community.
As part of this significant initiative, Sun Siyam Iru Veli hosted a special day visit on June 9, 2024, for 29 students from Grades 9 and 10 of Dh. Hulhudheli School, accompanied by four dedicated teachers. The day was packed with engaging activities aimed at providing the students with valuable insights into the hospitality industry and the operations of a luxury resort.
The visit commenced with an informative session led by the Management and Learning and Development team. This session covered various aspects of resort management and career opportunities in the hospitality sector, encouraging students to explore the diverse possibilities within the industry. Additionally, a bespoke session was designed to help them become better learners, students, workers, and responsible citizens.
Following the session, the students embarked on an educational field trip to the Front Office department. This hands-on experience allowed them to observe the daily operations and exceptional service standards maintained at Sun Siyam Iru Veli.
