Male’, Maldives, 21st June 2024 – The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), in partnership with Manta Air and several key Maldivian resorts, is excited to announce the “Explore Maldives” Roadshow. Scheduled for June 26, 2024, at the prestigious Shangri-La Hotel in Bengaluru, this event aims to boost Indian tourism to the Maldives and foster valuable connections between the Maldivian hospitality sector and Indian travel industry leaders.

This roadshow marks a significant effort to strengthen the tourism ties between India and the Maldives, focusing on reviving and enhancing travel experiences in the post-pandemic era. By engaging over 150 top travel agents, tour operators, and media representatives from India, the event will highlight the Maldives as a premier travel destination.

Noteworthy participants include major resort chains such as Universal Resorts, Minor Hotels, NH Collection, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, Sun Siyam Resorts, Villa Hotels & Resorts, PULSE Hotels & Resorts, AAA Hotels & Resorts, Angsana, COMO, RIU, among others. These resorts and guesthouses will present their offerings through engaging presentations and dynamic networking sessions, showcasing the unique appeal of the Maldives.

Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO and MD of MMPRC, emphasized the importance of the Indian market, stating, “India is one of the fastest-growing outbound tourism markets today and remains crucial for the Maldives.
