AirAsia is the only airline that flies direct to the Maldives from Kuala Lumpur. It operates two weekly flights to and from the idyllic island destination, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Riad Asmat, CEO of AirAsia Malaysia said, “The Maldives tops the list of ‘must-visit’ island destinations and the demand for flights there has been pleasing, on the back of the easing in travel restrictions and other regulations, which is a great first step to revive the local and international tourism industry.”
Furthermore, he shared that seats to this ultimate beach destination are now available for booking on the airasia Super App with all-in-fares from RM359 one-way from Kuala Lumpur to the Maldives, and from USD189 for one-way tickets from the Maldives to Kuala Lumpur.
Flights are on sale until 15 May 2022 for the travel period between 23 May and 31 October 2022.
