In an effort to build a strong relationship with the Turkish Market – Visit Maldives has invited a renowned media crew to explore and enjoy the lush island paradise, that is Maldives. The media crew which consists of, travel writers, journalists and art directors have been residing at Joali Maldives, Mirihi Island Resort and Finolhu Maldives – starting from the 16th of August.

The media familiarization trip is part of the Visit Maldives’ market strategy to promote Maldives through high end channels, targeted advertising, promotion of individual products and experiences, and campaigns with nature and conservation.

The media outlets consist of Oksijen, Seturday, Baha Akinci, Sabah, Daily Sabah, Marie Claire and – who collectively have a reach of over 10 million potential travelers.

During their stay, the crew will be enjoying activities such as snorkeling with marine biologists, serene spa and wellness facilities, watersports and movie nights under the gorgeous moon lit, star littered night sky. Adding to the itinerary, the team will embark on a mouthwatering gastronomic journey and discover haute gourmet cuisines unique to each property.
