Male’ Maldives, 25th April 2022 – An exciting new beginning for all travellers, 24 April marked the inaugural flight of Eurowings Discover all the way from Germany to the Maldives. The German Lufthansa Group’s low-cost vacation airline will now be operating non-stop flights from Frankfurt to Male’, the capital of the island paradise. According to Eurowings Discover, its upcoming summer flight schedule includes two weekly flights from Frankfurt to the Maldives, which will be increased to three times a week during the winter.

Travellers can look forward to the first direct connection flight between Munich and Male’ during the winter as well. These flights will include approximately 10 hours flying time and are scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays. Bookings can be made on the airline’s official websites such as Lufthansa.com, eurowings.com, and via any other booking channels as well.
Eurowings Discover will be expanding its flight schedule from Munich further during the summer. It will include many more destinations on short and medium-haul tourist routes, such as the Canary Islands, Turkey and more than 10 Greek islands. The airline also plans to base five Airbus 320s to fly from Terminal 1 in Munich this year.
