Conveniently located just 20 minutes by seaplane or 60 minutes by speedboat from Malé International Airport, this newest addition to the CCR portfolio welcomes guests of all ages. Established in 1984 as one of the Maldives’ pioneering resorts, Veligandu has undergone a comprehensive renovation and is slated to reopen its doors to guests in November 2024, offering a total of 100 villas.
Veligandu joins CCR’s esteemed luxury collection alongside Kudadoo Maldives Private Island, Hurawalhi Maldives Island Resort, Kagi Maldives Resort & Spa, and Jawakara Islands Maldives. Unlike many resorts, Veligandu maintains its commitment to natural beauty by seamlessly blending lush vegetation and flora into its surroundings, without artificial island construction.

Dining at Veligandu is a culinary journey, with options ranging from Japanese-inspired teppanyaki cuisine at Madivaru Teppanyaki Grill to fine seafood at Raalhu, complemented by ocean vistas.
