Male’, Maldives – 3 August 2026 – THE OZEN COLLECTION has appointed experienced hospitality leader Abnash Kumar as General Manager of its ultra-luxury island resort, OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI.
The appointment marks a new phase of operational development and sustainable innovation for the resort, as THE OZEN COLLECTION continues to strengthen its position within the luxury hospitality sector.
Abnash brings more than 20 years of international hospitality experience, having worked across the United States, South Africa, India and the Maldives. His career includes leadership roles at renowned hotels and resorts, ranging from an iconic property in New York to luxury island destinations in the Maldives.
Throughout his career, Abnash has developed a reputation for strengthening service standards, improving operational performance and fostering positive workplace cultures. He has also led award-winning projects recognised for their innovative and environmentally conscious design.
His approach to hospitality is centred on the belief that luxury and responsibility should complement one another. This philosophy closely aligns with THE OZEN COLLECTION’s commitment to Refined Elegance, personalised service and sustainable tourism.
At OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI, Abnash will oversee the resort’s strategic direction and daily operations while supporting the continued development of guest experiences, team culture and sustainability initiatives.

Abnash holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from Mumbai and a diploma from Rizvi College of Hotel Management.
