Milaidhoo Maldives to Host Chef James Knight-Paccheco for Two Exclusive Culinary Events

Male’, Maldives, 14 October 2026 – Milaidhoo Maldives will welcome award-winning chef James Knight-Paccheco, widely known as Chef JKP, for two special culinary events on 11 and 12 December 2026, bringing guests together around food, technique and thoughtfully paired wines.

The programme begins on 11 December with an interactive culinary workshop, where guests will have the opportunity to cook alongside Chef JKP, learn professional techniques and exchange ideas in an informal kitchen setting.

On 12 December, the experience will continue with an exclusive wine-pairing dinner. Chef JKP will present a menu reflecting his culinary style, complemented by wines selected by Milaidhoo’s resident sommelier to accompany each course.

Chef JKP brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience, with a career spanning Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels and restaurant projects across the UK and the Middle East. He has worked alongside leading chefs including Raymond Blanc, Gordon Ramsay and Michael Caines, and is also the creator and host of The Chef JKP Podcast, which has recorded more than 6.5 million downloads.

At Milaidhoo, the culinary concept is closely connected to the island and its people, combining Maldivian flavours and traditions with the international perspectives of its culinary team. The resort places particular emphasis on the exchange of knowledge and personal interaction, whether through local dishes, new techniques or conversations between chefs and guests.

This approach makes Milaidhoo a fitting setting for Chef JKP’s visit. Located within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the island offers a relaxed and intimate dining environment where guests can take time to appreciate both the food and the people behind it.

Rather than simply presenting a guest-chef appearance, the two-day programme is designed to create direct engagement, giving guests the opportunity to meet Chef JKP, learn from his experience and explore his approach to cooking in a more personal setting.

The culinary workshop will take place on 11 December 2026, followed by the wine-pairing dinner on 12 December 2026.
