Devindra De Silva has been appointed Sales Manager for Europe, the UK, and the US markets. With a career spanning significant roles in customer service and operations at Aitken Spence Maritime (Clark Spence & Co. Ltd.), Devindra’s expertise in hospitality sales is well-established. His impressive track record includes impactful positions at Cinnamon, Amaya Kuda Rah, and Nika Island Resort, where his strategic sales initiatives consistently exceeded targets and drove substantial revenue growth.
Joining Devindra in strengthening Ifuru Island Maldives’ market reach is Manisha Walia, who will serve as Sales Manager for India, Asia, and Local Destination Management Companies (DMCs). Manisha’s career began with travel agents in India before transitioning into sales and marketing roles at Brennia Kottefaru in the Maldives and Amaya Kuda Rah. Her extensive experience in managing high-profile MICE events and client relationships, coupled with her deep understanding of regional market dynamics, positions her well to enhance Ifuru Island Maldives’ presence in these critical markets.
