Male’, Maldives, 03 August 2024 – The Maldives has made a stellar impression at the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart 2024, held from August 27-29 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. In a dynamic collaboration between the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) and the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), the Maldives was showcased as a premier global travel destination, highlighting its diverse offerings.
The Maldives’ delegation was led by MMPRC’s Chairperson, Mr. Abdulla Ghiyas Riyaz, and CEO & Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Shiuree. They were joined by MATATO’s CEO, Ms. Aminath Suzan, alongside key industry partners such as Dhigufaru Island Resort, Furaveri Maldives, Inner Maldives, Plumeria, Ryoko Maldives, Stone Hotels Maldives, Sun Siyam Travels, and Kaani Hotels & Resort. Together, they illustrated the Maldives’ unique appeal through a range of experiences from tranquil island retreats to exhilarating underwater adventures.
